MHS Culinary Students Learn Behind the Scenes—Milton Hershey School

At Milton Hershey School, food production is no small task. The quantity of food, the hours spent preparing it, and the relationships built around meals together are countless. Through one-on-one shadowing with MHS staff in the Hartman Supply Center, sophomore students in the Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management Services Career and Technical Education pathway got a glimpse of it all. They learned hands-on the speed and teamwork that keep a production kitchen operating smoothly. These students also developed professional connections with MHS staff, who saw this experience as a way to give back to the school and its mission.
