Endocytosis is a process by which e cell engulfs external particles inside.

It can be broadly categorize into two type, vig., phagocytosis and pinocytosis.

Phagocytosis is a process by which cell engulfs solid materials and in pinocytosis cell intakes liquid from the external environment.

Exocytosis is a cellular process where cell throws out the waist material.
