James Sofronas drove a stellar race overcoming adversity to finish in second place in the ALMS race at mid Ohio GTC Class. when James got into the car with 2 hrs to go in the race, we were in 5 th place, after a lightning job in the pits the crew got him out in 3 rd, This was short lived as we were served a penalty for exciting pit speed limit. After the stop and go penalty he made short work of the field and climbed into second place after a pass on the Alex Job Porsche of Bill Sweedler, Just when things were looking our way, the #75 GT Jaguar hit us in the rear spinning us around and off track, we now were 30 sec behind Sweedler in 3rd with 20 min left in the race. James was determined to get back that position and on the second to last lap fought back all the way and re took second place from the Alex Job car, and held it to the finish line. I cant say enough about the great race car the GMG crew set up, add that to the REMARKABLE Brake Pads the ENDLESS provided us, we had the tools to drive harder and deeper in and out of the corners...
