Описание к видео "it's a small world" Disneyland Central Africa Jungle 20 minute loop (1966-93, 2003-present)

This is a 20 minute loop of the original and current version of the African Jungle audio from it's a small world at Disneyland. It features a Central African instrumental, and vocals from the jungle animals that accompany the children in this scene. This audio originated at the New York World's Fair 60 years ago in April 1964 thru Oct 1965. In 1966 the ride found a permanent home at Disneyland, California, where it remains today. It has since been found at Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland, but this video mostly focuses on Worlds Fair and Disneyland, with a few bonus WDW pics. It was removed from Disneyland between 1993 and 2003, and has been restored & remastered since then. The soundtrack was replaced entirely with the Paris version from 1993-2003. This scene features children from various countries in Central Africa in a jungle environment with various native animals, such as a zebra, rhino, lion, elephant, and laughing hyenas. Most of these classic props have been here since 1964. The nearby laughing Nigerians and hyena were replaced with singing Nigerians in 1973. At the same time the hyena was moved between the zebra and the rhino/monkey pair, and paired with the other one previously in the Finale. The alligator and frogs in the lower part of this area were added in 1990. The lighting has also changed a lot over time, becoming lighter and darker over the years. It was pretty dark in the early years, becoming a little bit lighter in the 70's, darker in the 80's, lighter from 1991, darker from 1997, and lighter since 2008. The art style is consistent with the classic Mary Blair style from the rest of the ride. I love the creativity that was put into it. Alice Davis made the costumes, which represent traditional Central African clothing, and her husband Marc Davis created the scenes with the animals. Mary Blair designed these scenes in her art style. The many rotating pictures are shown in chronological order from 1964 through 2024. Most before 2022 were found at various internet sources. The 2022-2024 pictures are all by me. I hope you enjoy it!

I do not own any of the audio or pre-2022 images used in this video. All audio is owned by Disney, and all images are owned by their respective owners.
