Listen to relate not to respond | Brigitta Hoeferle | TEDxFrankfurt

Описание к видео Listen to relate not to respond | Brigitta Hoeferle | TEDxFrankfurt

When Brigitta started her business, she quickly found that her past bad experience in a corporate environment led her to pass on the same dysfunctional behaviours to her own staff, without even realising it! The realisation however, came quickly, as she experienced tremendous
turnaround in staff and tens of thousands of dollars in loss. She began pouring knowledge into
herself and her staff in the form of personal, staff and business development, which taught her that relationships, both personal and business, are built on one skill: LISTENING! This should not be confused with WAITING, which is pausing until it’s your turn to speak so that you can share your own agenda in hopes of getting what you want. In order to unlock your sixth sense to building meaningful relationships, one must be able to listen on five levels! Brigitta’s talk will tell us more about those
five levels so we can all start listening to relate and not to respond. Brigitta is an accomplished corporate trainer, keynote speaker, and business leader. She is proficient in questioning the status quo and teaching effective communication skills. In 2004, she made the bold move of relocating her family to a small town in the United States in order to start a Montessori school. Despite the challenges of being a young mother at the time, Brigitta was successfully growing her businesses rapidly and expand continuously. Her passion for speaking & coaching and her dedication to excellence earned her a spot on the board of directors of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), while continuing to grow her Communication Training Firm. In addition to all her knowledge, strategies and processes Brigitta is know for her creativity, compassion and passion. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
