Motorbikes on the A590 for Dave Day

Описание к видео Motorbikes on the A590 for Dave Day

This afternoon a lot of motorbikes came up north on their way to Barrow. I have no clue how many there are in this video, but I reckon it's at least 1000. This is from the laybay on the west/northbound side of the A590 near J36.

According to national highways, this is for 'Dave Day', which is "a charity fund-raising event celebrating the life of ‘Hairy Bikers’ TV chef Dave Myers who was born in Barrow and died earlier this year."

Although I’m not sure how true this is, Westmorland & Furness council seems to estimate 25 km long by the end, and the only other number I’ve heard is that there were around 45 000 bikes!
BBC reports 20 000 bikes so I'm not entirely sure. Still a lot!
