INS Mormugao: The Second Destroyer of Project 15B Class Begins A New Life

The Visakhapatnam class destroyer, also known as the P-15B, is a class of guided missile destroyers currently under construction for the Indian Navy. On 24 November 2022, the second of four destroyers was delivered to the Indian Navy, the INS Mormugao, hull number D67.

The INS Mormugao has a length of 163 m, a beam of 17.4 m, and a draft of 6.5 m. The class can be considered as one of the most powerful warships ever built domestically in India with enhanced stealth features resulting in a reduced Radar Cross Section
