The deserted colonial farms of New England are larger than you think

Описание к видео The deserted colonial farms of New England are larger than you think

The woods of New Hampshire have hidden history buried in what is now forest and the is why we are exploring these lands in search of. Following the rock walls built hundreds of years ago they let you know that you are inside what would have been working farmlands going back to the colonial 1700s. Miles and miles tase stacked stones square of the pastures, fields and home sites of the early American settlers. I am out here looking to find that lost history which in the overgrown woods still hold the mystery. I make a big hike out of it and end up at a cellar hole that is left from a house that stood here around 250 years ago and dig up a few artifacts. If you want to metal detect old places and find old places you have to hike day after day in these old places.
