Vacation 2024 l Day 3 l Norwegian Getaway Embarkation & Cagney's Steakhouse Dinner l NYC l April 24

Vacation 2024, Day 3! We wake up in New York City and get ready to head to the Manhattan Port Cruise Terminal. The Embarkation process was the slowest we have ever had with Norwegian but the ship was very late to port due to whale migrations so we were alright with the delay. We board the Norwegian Getaway ship for the first time and get to show you all our Spa Balcony room where we will spend the next 14 days for our Transatlantic crossing! We have been on the sister ship to this one so the layout was very familiar to us which made navigating the ship on the first day easy for us. We head to our first signature dinner on this sailing at the Cagney's Steakhouse which was good! We then get to watch the New York City and New Jersey skylines pass by and say goodbye to the Statue of Liberty as we sail away to start our cruise portion of vacation!
