"South of the Mountain" is a Dai ethnic dance that draws inspiration from Dai folklore, recounting the story of a young girl who receives a red conical hat as a symbol of beauty and virtue. This dance showcases the traditional artistry of the Dai people and pays homage to their rich cultural heritage.
