Who Was Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA)?
Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA) was born in Yathrib (Madinah) and belonged to the noble Banu Najjar tribe. At a young age, his mother, Umm Sulaim (RA), dedicated him to serve the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), allowing him to gain unparalleled knowledge and experience. The Famous Dua of Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA)
One of the most well-known Duas associated with Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA) is the Dua for blessings in life and wealth. The Prophet (ﷺ) personally prayed for Anas (RA), saying:
"O Allah! Increase his wealth, his children, and bless whatever You give him."
This Dua became a source of great barakah (blessings) in Anas (RA)'s life, as he lived a long life of over 100 years and had many descendants.
The Legacy of Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA)
After the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Hazrat Anas (RA) continued spreading Islamic knowledge, teaching Hadith, and guiding people in faith. His commitment to preserving the Prophet’s (ﷺ) teachings made him a key figure in Islamic scholarship.
His students included many great Islamic scholars, and his Hadiths remain an essential part of collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, and others.
Passing of Hazrat Anas Bin Malik (RA)
Hazrat Anas (RA) passed away at the age of 103 years, making him one of the last surviving companions of the Prophet (ﷺ). He was buried in Basra, Iraq, leaving behind a rich legacy of knowledge, piety, and devotion to Islam.
