The very interesting webinar was organized by The SPE Baghdad Section on Feb 7, 2021. The Speaker Dr. Amir Alwazzan (Production Assurance & Technology Advisor of Dragon Oil Company - ENOC Group, UAE).
His presentation shared an overview of the status of the international upstream oil industry and the contribution of Iraq to the global outlook. It covered the challenges instigated by both the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid evolution of renewable and sustainable alternatives. Also, It presented potential opportunities for the global (and Iraq’s) industry to recover, sustain recovery and make the best out of it based on the lessons learned from the pandemic’s unprecedented time and from previous challenges.
