Oceans was written pretty early in the collection of songs that made our album Take Good Care. I really like songs that lock into a specific chord progression, and I also like discovering when melodies work over different kinds of chord progressions - Oceans was kind of an experiment in doing both of those things. We've played it at almost every show since it was written so it felt like it deserved the music video treatment, and we had all this footage from making the record, which made for a good opportunity to do a recording diary style of video. We hope you like it....
