Pakistan: Shia-Sunni clashes, conflict claims over 130 lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Ongoing ‘Shia-Sunni’ clashes have jolted Pakistan’s Kurram, near the Afghan border causing chaos and claiming more than 130 lives. The death toll from the sectarian clashes in Kurram district has risen to 133, with over 100 injured, according to local officials reported by Reuters. Despite a tentative ceasefire agreement, the clashes between the two communities violence continued, with authorities struggling to broker a solution. Meanwhile, disturbed locals hit out at the authorities, pointing out the govt’s inability to handle ongoing confrontations
