In this splash photography walk-through, I show you how I composite splashes in photo shop to come up with a final image.


Freezing motion can only be done with very quick flash durations which usually means expensive studio strobe lights...
Or super cheap speed lights!

I shot this image using my Yongnuo speed lights so the studio work was very cheap... Rolls of tracing paper and £40 flashes on £10 triggers. I probably shot around 100 individual splashes before importing my favourites into photo shop and putting together an edit.
