Filmed on 13/09/2022. This is another station to re visit after 6 years as we travel away from Cheshire, crossing into Staffordshire and re joining the West Coast Mainline for a trainspotting session at Stafford (Season 9 Episode 31)

The traffic can be hit and missed to be best described with Stafford. Due to a broken down train between Lancaster and Oxenholme, some Avanti West Coast Scottish services were heavily delayed or even cancelled due to this. Passenger traffic is steady but not flowing as normally would be due to some trains running limited timetable.

London Northwestern Railway cut back on their half hourly services between Birmingham and Liverpool to run hourly. But, the benefits of this is that each train is now formed of 8 coaches with oddly some of the class 350/2 on these services. A hourly shuttle service is running between Crewe to Birmingham New Street via Stoke-On-Trent. Which, oddly and even though it is a stopping service, first class is classified.

Freight traffic is still as good with loads of variety, intermodal trains and even light engine movements. Mostly worked by GBRF, DB Cargo UK and Direct Rail Services.
