This KTM 390 came into the shop with serious performance issues – rough idle, trouble starting, dirty components, and neglected service. In this video, I go through a complete repair and maintenance process, returning this single-cylinder machine to top form.

We begin with a full inspection of the battery, electrical system, ECU, and wiring, followed by spark plug replacement, throttle body cleaning, injector flush, and air filter service. Then we move on to engine oil and filter replacement, coolant flush, and clutch cable adjustment.

I also check and clean the chain and sprockets, inspect the brakes and wheel bearings, and re-grease the suspension linkages. Finally, the KTM gets a deep clean and test ride to ensure it’s ready for performance riding again.
