Dramatic Husky Has ANOTHER MELTDOWN at Groomers! (headphone warning)

It's that time of the year again! Skaya went to the groomers AGAIN! She got washed and had another complete husky meltdown! This time around, Skaya barely had any patience and was acting crazier than before! To say she was acting like a drama queen would be an understatement! (HEADPHONE WARNING!)

BIG thank you to Döghaus (Montreal) for making Skaya all pretty and clean!

FYI: huskies are extremely vocal breeds and are notorious cry babies when it comes to water and grooming. Skaya was not harmed nor was she in pain at any point. The groomers did a fantastic job dealing with her dramatics while trying to keep her at ease and finding the distraction tactics that would work best for her. I am extremely grateful to them.

You aren’t supposed to bathe huskies more than a couple or so times a year (it can be damaging to their fur)… but Skaya was starting to get a bit dirty lately, so she needed a bath. Since it can be pretty difficult to bathe and clean her properly at home (i.e.: too dramatic), I decided to bring her to the groomers.

Unfortunately, bringing her to professionals doesn't stop her from behaving like a drama queen! That said, she was not at all aggressive with the groomers (which can be an issue when grooming some dogs). She actually was pretty well behaved, despite all the dramatics.
