A tragic #accident unfolded near #Delhi’s #DhaulaKuan when a speeding #BMW, allegedly driven by Gaganpreet Kaur, rammed into the motorcycle of Navjot Singh, a Deputy Secretary in the Finance Ministry, and his wife Sandeep Kaur while they were returning from Bangla Sahib Gurdwara.

Despite Sandeep’s repeated pleas to be taken to the nearest hospital, the driver transported them nearly 19 km away to Nulife Hospital in GTB Nagar, a facility linked to the accused, where Singh was declared dead and his wife admitted with multiple fractures and head injuries.

Delhi Police have since arrested Gaganpreet, seized the damaged BMW, and booked her under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.
