Mutton Tikka Biryani is a very delicious mutton biryani made using mutton tikka masala and is mixed with semi cooked riced the cooked under dum to give delicious flavours, this is Bakrid special mutton biryani and is simple and easy to cook

METHOD

1.First soak Basmati rice in water after washing it well for 3 to 4 times - 1/2 kilo / 500 gram or 600 gram too is ok

2.Now we need to marinate mutton pieces
Here we need 750 gram / 3/4 kilo mutton cut into medium to big pieces
For marination we need
Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon
Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 2 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon
Oil - 3 teaspoon
Salt as required
Yogurt - 100 gram
Red food color - 3 pinches
Mix it well and marinate for 2 hours

3.After marination roast the mutton pieces on a pan for 10 to 15 minutes or till they get roasted well

4. For making Mutton tikka masala we need
In a pan heat oil - 4 tablespoon
To it add
Cardamom sticks - 3
Cloves - 5
Cardamom - 3
Saute them

5.Then add thinly sliced onion - 3 medium sized and fry till golden brown to brownish in colour

6.Add ginger garlic paste - 3 teaspoon and saute

7.Add ground paste of - 3 medium sized tomatoes and saute well
Add
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 3 pinches
Biryani masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Saute well
Add yogurt - 100 gram and saute well
Then add the mutton tikka pieces and little salt,coriander leaves cook it
Add water - 1 cup and cook till mutton is 90% done

8.For boiling rice we need 4 to 5 liter water to this water add
Caraway seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom sticks - 2
Cloves - 4
Cardamom pods - 2
Salt - 4 teaspoon or as required
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice of half a lemon
When water boils add soaked rice and cook till rice is 70 to 80% done

9.Now in a big vessel place rice and mutton masala in layers as shown in the video

10.Then place biryani under dum also give it a smoky flavour as shown
