The first Tuesday of every month is a session for absolute beginners. This week I will be showing how to use turtle graphics in Python. Turtle graphics is an easy to understand drawing and animation system which demonstrates how programs run and is especially useful for absolute beginners.

You will need to have Python 3.6 or later installed on your computer for this session. I recommend Python 3.9 otherwise you will need to make a couple of changes. Use the free Python installer from python.org or the free Anaconda Individual Edition installer from anaconda.com .

I recommend an IDE. I will be using PyCharm Community Edition, free from jetbrains.com . I will also briefly demonstrate how to use Visual Studio Code.
