Hello welcome to the first video of this series on The Garden Patch Grow Box, an easy self watering container garden. In this video we will be unboxing the garden and covering setup.

So here is what is included in the garden kit, the container in two parts for your assembly, this includes the self watering well and the planter top, the premium trademark garden fertilizer and the nutrient patch. You will need to purchase a light and fluffy potting mix high in perlite and vermiculite as these additives wick water.

What makes the container garden so easy is that its water well holds four gallons of water from which the plants drink at their leisure, the premium blend fertilizer boosts a combo of special minor elements not found in other fertilizer as well as a drastically lower salt then other fertilizer which promises to protect the plants from burning. Furthermore once this fertilizer has been properly placed in the planter and covered with the nutrient patch it promises to deliver four months worth of the right amount of fertilizer. And the icing on the cake so to speak is the nutrient patch, which protects the fertilizer and potting mix from weather conditions as well as providing a number system to guide you in planting your bounty far enough apart etc.

We set up the planter by first removing the four pins from the planter top and setting them aside, then making sure the spouts align. Start by placing the top of the planter into the water well of the container at an angle; there is a lip in the watering well to guide you. Now align the container all the way around. Once you have aligned the container, locate the four tabs on each side of the inside of the container and pop them up through the holes, now press the plastic pieces inside the holes down. This container is ready for planting mix.
