In this video, I'm going to teach you five simple tapping licks to spice up your blues improvisations.

1. Our first lick uses sixteen triplet notes over the first position of the E minor pentatonic scale. Pay attention to the little twist when descending down the minor pentatonic.

2. The second lick is very satisfying to play. This time we are going to ascend over the minor pentatonic but also the Aeolian mode gets used too.

3. In this third lick, we are going to stay in the Aeolian mode. The key thing for this lick is the hammer-on from nowhere occurring in the left hand. This time our right will be busy doing the tapping and the muting require to pull this lick off.

4. For this lick, our left hand is going to descend over the E Aeolian mode, but with a little twist: there is a little sequence involved.

5. Lick number five features a cascading kind of effect that can be enhanced by using a synced delay effect.
