Been a hot minute since a video lol. Basically, since the GP01FB review, I had exams, some home renovations, and I… uh… fist fought a car door and the car door won.

So not only could I not record footage/audio but if I did I’d have to constantly try to hide a messed up hand. I’m whining, I know lol, but for real, had a lot going on. Things have cooled off by now, so expect some more videos soon.

This review was done entirely AFTER the next posted review. -SPOLIER ALERT-, but the next new video is a redo of the MG Gundam MK II ver 2.0. Ya know, need to redo a bunch of videos because of the background music.

Basically, before life got weird, I already had all the footage and audio for the MK II review, and just needed to edit it. However other stuff got in the way, 2 months passed, and I realized that the first video after a long hiatus being a ‘redo’ would be wrong. I needed to re-start with a new review. Thus, I knocked out this one, and am posting it first.

Anyway, that MK II review is sort of my magnum opus so far lol. So, I thought this Wing Zero EW review would be just as crazy. But as it turns out, this was sort of a straightforward deal. I didn’t even use the split screen I was so proud of with the MK II. If anything, this review feels like it was made pre-MK II review. It’s just very basic.

I did use the cropping and still images during the scoring sections. I feel that keeps those 15-20 second re-cap sections interesting

New color filter. I started cranking down the contrast to make it look more like a few Japanese reviewers I’ve seen. They really like low contrast, and I do too. However, I think it makes the gap between the still images and video stand out a bit more. Need to work on normalizing things.

Audio is starting to sound really good. I have a solid workflow now. However, there’s construction outside my apartment, so I constantly have to go back and record lines because of random beeping from bulldozers outside. This leads to a few noticeable audio inconsistencies. Plus my ‘posture’ is off. Need to find a consistent way to sit and speak into the microphone. It's a little bass-y right now.

I really really really like this title card. I don’t know why, but I was just ON IT when I made this thumb. The colors all match, the effects work, the Gundam blends in. I’m super proud of it.
