The Nottingham Scania Double Decker 2016

A chronological diary throughout 2016 of the very standard double decker bus for Nottingham City Transport. They come in 3 types:


Scania N94UD (53-08 Plate)
Scania N270UD (08-59 Plate)
Scania N230UD (10 -65 Plate)

Fleet numbers vary considerably as do the liveries of these vehicles with Silver Spare buses allocated to whichever route they are needed for on that day.

Bonus liveries include Dick Whittington, Batman, The Trolleybus 50 years livery, Remembrance (X2), Alladin and the remaining adverts on the Children In Need Bus as that had been taken to a planned event on the day itself.

The bodywork varies from East Lancs Omnidekka to Optare (the same East Lancs but rebadged) to the Later Enviro400 body (63 plate onwards
