Season one of Invincible introduces Mark Grayson, who inherits his father Omniman's superhuman powers and becomes a superhero named Invincible. However, Omniman, a powerful Viltrumite, harbors a dark secret and brutally murders the Guardians of the Globe, the Earth's superhero team. The Global Defense Agency (GDA), led by Cecil Steedman, investigates the killings, eventually learning the truth about Omniman and his rampage. Meanwhile, Mark grapples with his newfound powers and struggles to balance his personal life with his superhero duties, forming a relationship with Amber.
