What's going on YouTube? In this tutorial I show you how to use the EVEN and ODD Functions In Microsoft Excel. The EVEN Function is used to return the next even number with a given number used in the function. It returns the next even number going away from 0. The ODD function does the same thing, except for it returns the next odd number away from 0. The ISEVEN Function returns TRUE if the input is even, and false if it is ODD. The ISODD Function returns TRUE if the number is odd, and false if it is odd. These can be used in combination, as if is an EVEN function is nested in an ISEVEN function it will always return TRUE. Likewise, if an ODD function is nested in an ISODD function it will always return TRUE. However, if an ODD function is nested in an ISEVEN function it will always return FALSE and if an EVEN function is nested in an ISODD function it will always return FALSE.
