In this video, I am in Damshung County, 4700m, 150km north of Lhasa, to celebrate Grandma’s 71st birthday today, the first of her life.

In Tibet, we didn’t have birthday customs in the past, especially in remote areas, but now due to many external cultures, many new customs are slowly becoming popular.

As an important age node, we also carry the good wish for Grandma’s long life. We celebrate the birthday together.
