My mom and I go to the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen in this vlog. We had a true ‪@efteling‬ feeling, which you only understand if you've ever been there.

The Zuiderzee Museum tells the stories of the rich culture the towns surrounding the once-called "Zuiderzee" had.

In 1932, the Afsluitdijk closed off the Zuiderzee from the Wadden Sea, and the newly formed inland lake was named the 'IJsselmeer.' The area outside the dike has since been part of the Wadden Sea. The Zuiderzee Museum focuses on the history, present, and future of the IJsselmeer region, with themes such as water, crafts, and communities at its core. The outdoor museum, with its historical buildings, and the indoor museum, with its thematic exhibitions, together illustrate this story. Heritage, visual arts, photography, and design play an important role in this narrative.
