My friend and I camped at a location we rarely go to. We left when the weather was ideal because we left quite early from home. We left early so we wouldn't get caught in the rain while building tents like we did camping some time ago. But halfway through the trip it started to rain. We also wore raincoats and covers for our carrier bags.

We built tarps and tents when it rained. When finished, the weather changed again. Very heavy rain suddenly came. In fact, several times thunders were heard around our camping location. We were quite worried about very loud thunders. We didn't expect such terrible thunders to be around the tent, but that's nature we can't predict it.

When it rained, we didn't have time to make drainage ditches, so the front of our tent was flooded. We also made ditches as quickly as possible and fortunately the flood was quickly resolved. The stagnant water quickly seeps into the land so that the area around the tent is not too muddy like previous camping locations. That made us more comfortable doing activities outside the tent such as cooking and making campfires.

In the night, we made dinner of fried chicken and mushrooms. There're also additional menus such as tofu. For breakfast, we make breakfast in the form of chocolate buns and energetic milk drinks. Before going home, a small rain fell again, we packed up and went home when it rained.

Saya dan teman saya berkemah di lokasi yang jarang kami datangi. Kami berangkat saat cuaca cukup ideal karena kami berangkat cukup pagi dari rumah. Kami berangkat lebih pagi agar tidak terjebak hujan saat membangun tenda seperti di camping beberapa waktu yang lalu. Namun, di tengah perjalanan hujan mulai turun. Kami pun memakai jas hujan dan cover tas carrier kami.

Kami membangun tarp dan tenda saat hujan gerimis. Setelah selesai, cuaca kembali berubah. Hujan sangat deras tiba-tiba datang. Bahkan, beberapa kali thunders terdengar di sekitar lokasi camping kami. Kami cukup khawatir dengan thunders yang sangat keras. Kami memang tidak mengharapkan thunders semengerikan itu ada di sekitar tenda, tapi itulah alam kita tidak bisa memprediksinya.

Saat hujan datang, kami belum sempat membuat parit untuk drainase sehingga bagian depan tenda kami banjir. Kami pun membuat parit secepat mungkin dan beruntung banjir cepat teratasi. Air yang menggenang pun cepat meresap ke dalam tanah sehingga sekitar tenda tidak terlalu becek seperti lokasi camping sebelum-sebelumnya. Hal ini membuat kami lebih nyaman melakukan aktivitas diluar tenda seperti masak dan membuat api unggun.

Ketika malam, kami membuat makan malam berupa ayam goreng serta jamur. Ada juga menu tambahan seperti tahu. Untuk paginya, kami membuat sarapan berupa bakpao coklat dan minuman susu energen. Sebelum pulang, hujan kecil kembali turun, kami pun packing dan pulang saat hujan.
