back again on this trending issue in Ghana. LGBT rights in Ghana has been dominating the headlines in a past days with several Ghanaians bursting in outrage
whenever this topic emerges in discussion. The president of Ghana Nana Akuffo is reported to have declared his stance on those rights by saying no. Wanlov
the Kubolor and his sister, Deborah Vannessa have been the voice of this group continuosly seeking for those rights amid the backlash from many of their followers.
On March 2nd 2021, former Ghanaian and Black stars midfielder Michael Essien has been under fire over his stance on the LGBT. Essien posted on his social media,
as you can see, GHANA SUPPORTS EQUALITY and this did not end well with him/ The former Chelsea has midfielder ignited the anger of most of his followers and
Ghanaians who are against the narrative have seriously decended on him, forcing him bring down the post moments after he posted it.
He has also lost more than half of his followers on Twitter,instagram and others.
