This Hospice Care Week (10 – 14 October) in partnership with Hospice UK, we are sharing Caitlin’s story, as told by her father Sean Kelly, to remember the remarkable young woman she was, highlight the vital help that hospices provide to people of all ages, and reveal the very personal part a ground-breaking transatlantic voyage played in her family’s fond and fitting farewell.

It was our privilege to look after Caitlin at the end of her life, which – though far too short – will continue to inspire us all.
