The HyperX Duocast Microphone is priced at $159 and is only a little bit less than the infamous Blue Yeti but it does have some pretty nice features that the Yeti doesn’t. It’s quite unique in terms of looks and the addressable RGB ring is a nice touch for 2022. Audio quality is exceptional considering the price and the fact that it’s USB makes the performance even more incredible. Audio monitoring could be it’s only real downfall in my opinion, you can hear yourself but it’s nowhere near as good when compared to using a XLR mic with a dedicated headphone monitoring option like with a Focusrite Audio Interface.
So if you are shopping for a high quality attractive usb microphone for streaming, gaming, discord chat or zoom calls that captures the full sound of your voice I’d definitely give this one a shot.
