I have spent a stupid amount of money on balisongs in the last few months. as I continue to increase my abilities to flip it is becoming more and more clear that if you are spending more than $500 on a balisong You are really just collecting them because the flipability truly doesn't increase in my opinion. however the certain feel you get from a bala song does increase and that can deepen your connection to it but it doesn't truly flip better than any variant you can get for less than $500. Things that you should look for in a bala song that is more than $500 are the rarity of it as well as the QC work on it. another thing to consider is the amount of time the individual maker puts into creating the balisong.
