Sometimes, a couple days is enough to rediscover light in you that will make your eyes sparkle.

And though it was only a couple days, I wanted to show you guys as many nice spots as possible. All the restaurants were also so delicious. If you have any other recs in the Bay Area or in the New York area, let me know :)

This is the third time since graduating college that I’ve put myself into finding a new direction, a new plan for myself. Moving to Korea, then quitting my job at NAVER, to now closing my cafe—every big decision has been so anxiety ridden, but has also made me feel free in choosing my direction and the way I want to grow. I didn’t know how much more difficult it would get the older I got though.

So for now, we’re traveling to see how I can develop my love for coffee to beyond just the drink, where I can find home again, and what new journey awaits me.

In the meantime, I’m listening to le sserafim’s songs, in particular The World is My Oyster and Good Parts to boost myself up wherever I go, and I hope you find inspiration to find peace for yourself, even if it means letting everything you thought was the world to you, go.
