There is the perception that marriage only benefits men. This tends to be true when a woman marries a man who does not have healthy masculinity and does not have a growth mindset of loyalty, commitment, and team spirit. And of course, the woman a man marries must also have these attributes.

Let's face it, when a woman has a boyfriend or lives with a man, it is easier for either party to walk away. And I get the fact that when both parties have been previously married, there is the fear of commiting to marriage. Both have been emotionally bruised and financially hurt by the divorce. I say to each their own.

But marriage offers an emotional and financial security that most single, never-married women deeply desire. Healthy companionship and communication; raising a family together - are what these women want - at a minimum.
