This World of Tomorrow sounds like a science fair project but the title has many meanings. Beneath all the futuristic talk is a heart full of old school charm…the science may start heavy but once you get past all that you will find a story sweeter than a box of chocolate. Tom is back in his comfort zone doing what he does best.
It is Sleepless in Seattle meets You’ve Got Mail just with a little time travel and a few too many Balenciaga lab coats. Kelli O’Hara Broadway’s very own Meg Ryan is luminous and a great match to Tom’s classic charm…you can almost hear Nora Ephron giggling somewhere above.
This was first preview so yes a few tweaks to make but if they dial down the science and turn up the love this show will have you laughing swooning and ugly crying in the aisles faster than you can say You’ve Got Love.
