I didn’t think she’d say yes. She was walking like she had somewhere to be. I almost didn’t ask. But, I decided to go for it, and she surprised me.

Not only did she agree to an impromptu portrait session, but she turned out to be a complete natural — effortless & fully present.

Then, as the shutter clicked, something else opened up. We ended up having one of the most raw, honest conversations I’ve ever had with a stranger on the street. Moments like these are why I keep doing this.
