How to Repot Online Rose Plants – Step-by-Step Guide

Choose the Right Pot or Ground Spot:

Use a pot that is 12–16 inches wide with good drainage holes.

If planting in the ground, pick a sunny spot with well-draining soil.

Prepare the Soil Mix:

Mix equal parts of garden soil, compost or cow dung, and river sand or cocopeat.

Add a handful of bone meal or neem cake for extra nutrients.

Unpack the Rose Plant:

Gently remove the rose from its packaging.

If it's in a plastic grow bag, cut the bag carefully without disturbing the roots.

Loosen the Roots:

If the roots are tightly bound, gently loosen them with your fingers to encourage growth.

Place in the New Pot:

Fill the bottom of the pot with a layer of your soil mix.

Position the rose plant so the root ball is just below the rim of the pot.

Fill in around the plant with more soil, pressing gently to remove air pockets.
