Chizome Akaguro, or better known as Hero Killer: Stain and formerly the vigilante Stendhal, was a major antagonist in the My Hero Academia franchise. Sophisticate and dangerous, Stain was one of the true big tastes of reality for Class 1-A.

He is a villain and former vigilante that achieved notorioty for killing many Pro Heroes that went against his ideology. After being heavily injured during his fight with U.A. students Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Tenya Ida, he was apprehended by the Pro heroes and sent to Tartarus prison. Recently released alongside All For One, he remains fixed upon his most dangerous of goals: To die at the hands of All Might; the "one true hero" he feels worthy of taking his life.

Despite his villainous ways, he has a code he holds to, refusing to align with the darkness of the League of Villains and All For One, and instead seeking to purge society of those he has deemed as "false heroes". The only sad part is that while he has many things right, the brutal actions he has taken color everything darkly. He brought much complexity into the light of the MHA universe.
