House rock valley road to The Wave | Buckskin Gulch

The Wirepass trailhead is 8.4 miles from the turnoff point on US 89 onto the unpaved House Rock Valley Road. The trailhead is located in Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness Area of southern Utah and northern Arizona, about halfway between Kanab, Utah and Page, Arizona. From this trailhead, some of the hike options are the North Coyote Buttes to the famous Wave, to Wire Pass Narrows and onward to Buckskin Gulch. Trailhead has a large parking area and restrooms. The parking area is on the right (heading southbound), but the actual trailhead is on the left.
House Rock Valley road is passable to cars in dry weather but could be very different in wet conditions. So please always check the forecast before you travel.
