After meeting an old frenemy at the Adventurer's Guild, Conrad wanders down to the docks, where he discovers his old alma mater: the Famous Adventurer's Correspondence School. Conrad browses a few books, then drops by the Dead Parrot Inn, where he bumps into two unsavory characters from his past.
