Welcome, finally, to another episode of Challenger Approaching! In this series, we discuss characters who could find their way into future installments of Super Smash Bros., then go into ludicrous detail on what they could play like if they joined the fight!

Our challenger this time is a fan favorite who's fallen on hard times. With unique earth-based abilities and high moveset potential, Isaac has almost everything Sakurai wants in a newcomer, but his home series' lack of relevance has held him back so far.

Could a second Smash Ballot pick give Isaac his chance to shine? And if he did make it, what would his moveset be like and how would he fight? It's finally time for us to find out.
