Om Prakash Chautala passes away, Market dip, Google layoffs & more

Former Haryana Chief Minister and Indian National Lok Dal leader Om Prakash Chautala passed away at his Gurugram residence at the age of 89.

The Sensex and Nifty 50 saw their biggest weekly decline in two years, with both dropping 5% and eroding investor wealth worth Rs 17 trillion. With this, the Nifty 50 has corrected 10% from its record high.
