Battery Optimization and Motoring

At Volvo Energy we give batteries a second life. When a battery has served an electric vehicle it still has around 80% capacity left. We put these batteries in new applications to save planetary resources and reduce the total cost in the first life. In addition, Volvo Energy monitor the batteries by creating safety and aging algorithms to understand how the battery capacity fades and to ensure safe operations for our customers.
