UP Nameplate Controversy: कांवड़ रूट पर नेमप्लेट को लेकर यूपी सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जवाब दाखिल किया है. योगी सरकार ने अपने फैसले का बचाव किया है. यूपी सरकार ने कहा है कि कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान खाने की गलतफहमी को लेकर पहले भी तनाव और झगड़े होते रहे हैं. इस आदेश का मकसद था कि कांवड़ियों को पता रहे कि वो क्या ले रहे हैं. ताकि कांवड़ियों की धार्मिक भावनाएं आहत ना हों. और शांति से कांवड़ यात्रा पूरी हो जाए. और ये आदेश किसी धर्म के आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं करता. दुकानों पर नाम लगाने का आदेश सभी धर्मों के लिए था...किसी खास मजहब के लिए नहीं था.
