The new MP-36-1000-400-J-S5 weigher is used for mixing traditional and crunchy muesli. Cereals, nuts, oilseeds, chocolate and crunchy flakes are mixed together. The semi-automated process involves transporting the main components either via a bucket conveyor or a lift/tilt unit to the crosshead feeders on the first level of the system. The 36-head weigher, which is split into six segments, is located below the crosshead feeders and weighs 70 packs per minute containing 500gr of bio muesli each down to the exact gram. Another special feature: while the weigher purchased in 2006 was equipped with sensors, the new J Generation has preweighers integrated below the distribution cone segment to increase process reliability.
