DearBands LIVE - Ep.27 // Interview with Brendan McMillan - Like many great bass players, he originally picked up a guitar in high school but quickly swapped it out for a bass and started playing in bands.

One of those high school bands became the platinum selling hard rock band "My Darkest Days" with a #1 song in the US about women who just love to dance.

In 2013, My Darkest Days went on hiatus after lead singer Matt Walst was asked to join his brother Brad Walst's established platinum selling band, Three Days Grace.

Since then, he's kept busy writing, touring, and performing as a hired gun, session player, and as a member of hard rock bands Deadset Society and most recently, Tense Machine.

Tonight's guest, Brendan McMillan, brought tons of real life experience, advice, and insight for vocalists, songwriters, and touring musicians.
