Born and raised in Louisiana, mostly Baton Rouge but lived in New Orleans for a few years. Went to LSU undergrad Majored in Economics and Tulane grad school Master of Management in Energy with a concentration in Trade and Finance.

Brock spent summers during my college years interning at the Port of Baton Rouge and Port of New Orleans which is where I gained interest in transportation. Originally planned on becoming a commodities trader, specifically midstream, which led to Tulane's Graduate Energy program. Worked for a couple of years at a CPA firm exclusively with their Oil and Gas clients, mostly building financial models and consulting.

Brock then decided to start working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. His family has strong ties to BCBSLA and the healthcare industry in Louisiana and staying at BCBSLA for almost ten years. He was introduced to Urgent Care but from the payor side of the equation.

A childhood friend, Hank Hopkins whose background is real estate and construction, started talking about wanting to open an Urgent Care in the suburbs of Baton Rouge, that's when Hank told Brock about AFC. The two of us decided to form a partnership, his background in dealing with franchises and my background on the payor side seemed to be a good combination in conjunction with AFC Franchising and their guidance.

We started working with AFC and ultimately decided this was a good fit for us. Fast forward two years, we shifted our focus from Louisiana to Texas and landed in the DFW market.
