LR 1700-1.0W narrow-track crawler crane on its first job | Liebherr

​The first LR 1700-1.0W narrow-track crawler crane had its baptism of fire in a mountainous region in eastern Portugal. It passed its first job without any problems: The 5.5 megawatt turbine is up and running and the imposing rotor star with a diameter of 160 meters is turning in the Portuguese wind. The special thing about our brand new 700-tonner is that it can drive to the next location on its crawler tracks. The narrow-track undercarriage makes do with paths just over six meters wide.
